“As President of the Cherry Park Neighbourhood Association since 2006 I have come to learn the ins and outs of municipal politics. It has also taught me the importance of building community, of people having both a voice and a place such as a community centre, a community garden or a local park. From attending many public and council meetings I have come to appreciate the need for new voices and ideas at the council table. If elected I will continue to work with people in Ward 9 and help to ensure that all voices are heard and taken seriously.”
